目前在国内申请美国旅游签证通过率不高，所以想空降美国本土办理美国银行卡，对于大部分人来说已是幻想，不过人在国内也能办理，2020年我办理了一张美国华美银行的借记卡，分享一下办理过程。
华美银行是一家美国本土以服务华人为主的银行，总部在加州，有大约180个分支机构，在美国本土来说已经属于中大型银行。
华美是美国纳斯达克的上市公司，市值超过百亿美元，所以从规模和体量来说是值得信任的，另外，也是FDIC的成员，所以有存款保险制度，受国家强制保险的保证，支持中文电话客服。
办理零门槛：
1、无需护照；
2、无需美国签证；
3、无需美国电话号码；
4、无需美国地址；
5、无需预存款；
这是我收到的借记卡：
发的是顺丰快递，从申请到收到等了大概一个月。
办理流程：
1、访问velo官方网站：https://www.velobank.com ，下载velo app；
2、打开velo app，按照提示填写信息，提交即可，大概一个星期审核就通过了，此时就可以用这个velo app，也就是手机银行进行收款或汇款了；
3、建议再申请一张借记卡，这样可以在国内支持VISA的ATM机提现，当然取出来的是人民币了，需要20美元的快递费，所以你的账户余额得大于20美元，我是让朋友用他的velo账户给我先转了些金额，这样没有手续费而且秒到帐，可以立刻申请借记卡。
4、velo账户可以绑定paypal，这样可以把paypal的余额提现到velo账户中，亲测有效，但是手续费太贵，每笔需要35美元：
不过如果是用香港银行卡绑定paypal，这样可以把paypal的余额提现到香港卡，手续费非常便宜：
2021年6月更新补充：velo现在门槛提高了，要求最低入金2500美元才可以免管理费，否则每个月扣25美元管理费。
